Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick - Rose Matter

This is my first review on Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick. For so long i've tried so many liquid lipstick and all of them (except my forever fave liquid lipstick, Lipsense) were end up in my drawer only (or i preloved them). Some of them are so drying in my lippie, others are a bit sticky and not so long lasting. me not likey

But then, i heard so many people bragged about Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick. It's so good, it's so long lasting and blaa blaa blaaa..... and..... since i love trying new things, lemme make a try i love to test it myself tho

  

PACKAGING 

The packaging certainly win my attention..!! i love the fact that it has a transparent tube where i can see the whole product and exactly what the colour of lipstick that i have. Moreover, transparent tube looks so classy tbh. It also has the hot pink cap with gold star which is very very Jeffree's style.. FAB..!!! Also, it makes me easier to find this tube among the stuffs in my make up pouch, just spot the hot pink cap.. and TADAAAAAA.... ahahahahahhaa

 

APPLICATOR 

Doe-foot applicator is my forever fave shape as it's the best shape to fit my lips and make me easier to apply the lipstick precisely, yet, this Jeffree's applicator has more sharp edgy than any other. well, i dont mind, i dont face any difficulties using this

WEARABILITY & FINISH 

It will stay wet for 1 or 1.5 minutes which is a good thing for me since i still have some times to adjust the line and cover my whole lippie with the product. It is highly suggested to exfoliate your lippie first to get rid any of dead skin and make your lippie looks smooth. i also set a thin layer of lipbalm underneath and over the lipstick to make my lippie moist for the whole day (note : lip balm is a must for me)

The Jeffree liquid lipstick glides on beautifully and smoothly It has a rare combination IMHO as it dries super matte and really opaque, but also really comfortable to wear! It is the most comfortable liquid lip colours that I own (besides Lipsense). This lipstick doesn’t make my lips feel dry or cracked at all...!! IT IS HELLLLAAAAAAAA AMAZING..!! It smudges and transfer a bit, but that's totally okay for me

LASTING POWER 

well, this is my main reason of curiosity..!! hahahahhhaa

I’ve heard so many good things about this Jeffree, some said they will last absolutely forever, and hell yeaaaaaaaaa....!!!  the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks are extremely long wearing. I apply the lipstick in the morning (around 7), gone to my office, had more than a bottle of water before lunch, snacking, gone out to lunch and had another bottle of water in the rest of my working hours without much damage at all to my lipstick! I WAS AMAZEEEEEEEEEEDDD...!!! yeeaaaaaa i was amazed when i still find that the lipstick is still there on my lippie. well yea, as i said before, they transfer a bit, fade a bit but it's totally okay for me

Rose Matter is a soft dusty pink with a hint of neutral coral to brighten lips up It has a beautiful shade of peachy pink-coral i really love. i think this shade can suit anyone in any skintone

anything else from this stuffs,  it has a sweet vanilla scent. dont worry, the scent doesn’t linger for too long,  but I think they smell really good

Overall, I honestly say that I don’t find any bad things to say about these liquid lipsticks, and they’re honestly some of a great lipsticks I have ever used, besides Lipsense. I will definitely be getting more of this liquid lipstick for my collection!

So this is my first review on Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks!as you know, I can’t say enough how much I love this lipstick! i think i get addicted to this lipstick..!! GEEEEEZZZZZZZZ.. it is so opaque, so smooth, so great and so long lasting, i dont have to re-apply the lipstick several times for a whole day. More over, i love the lipstick that doesn't make my lippie becomes so dry and cracks and i have them from Jeffree.. so i think i dont have any reason not to love this thing
